Can lobsters swim?
Adult lobsters do not swim. They crawl by using their walking legs and by contracting and retracting their tail. However, lobster larvae that have not settled to the bottom yet float through the ocean with the water current. As they grow older they swim with the use of their swimmerets and walking legs. Once they reach the bottom they remain there for good.

the lobster qn hit me whilst workin..cause all the time im working..i've never seen the lobsters in the tank swim..they're just at the bottom walking around
so i asked ling..and she clearly thought i was nuts...
bt there u have it...they DONT swim=] (maybe cause they cant)
if that wasnt dumb enough..miny had a stupid qn of her own...

cause...these are'nt normal ppl yea...

they prob have enough power to screw u...

(ok..im bloody exaggerating...bt that doesnt take the fear of spillage away)

pls dont be crazy and go digging around in ur garden for a caterpillar and like throw it in the pond or something..
